Individual and Couple Therapy
I have been working one-to-one with clients for over a decade, and more recently, with couples.
Trained as an Integrative Psychotherapist, I believe in tailoring therapy to the unique needs of each client. Depending on your needs, we may focus on the present moment, work with the body and nervous system, or explore how early experiences continue to shape your patterns and inner world today.
Grounded in Humanistic values—a whole-person approach that emphasises subjective experience, personal meaning, and self-awareness over a focus on symptoms or pathology—my practice has gradually evolved over the years. Today, I am most inspired and influenced by my training in attachment theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Psychotherapy, and somatic modalities such as Polyvagal Theory and Sensorimotor Psychotherapy.
IFS is a gentle, non-pathologizing model that views the mind as composed of distinct “parts,” each with its own emotions and intentions. It can be highly effective in addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other challenges by helping clients connect with and heal their inner system.
Somatic trauma therapies—such as Polyvagal Theory, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and Somatic Experiencing—support us to in tune into our bodies and nervous systems. This embodied awareness is especially helpful in trauma and anxiety work, accessing areas that words alone may not reach.
In my work with couples, I use Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), a structured, evidence-based model rooted in attachment theory. EFCT helps partners move beyond reactive cycles and into deeper emotional connection. Research shows EFCT to be highly effective for couples facing conflict, distress, trauma, infidelity, and relationship dissatisfaction.
I have a warm, collaborative, and flexible way of working. I am committed to an inclusive, neurodiversity-affirming practice that respects diverse ways of thinking, learning, and experiencing the world. I continue to learn from and honor the wisdom within each client’s system, trusting it to guide the therapeutic process.
Training and Experience
I have a decade of experience in mental health and therapeutic services across the NHS, private and third sector settings.
I have worked with a broad client-base of all ages and walks of life, but have particular experience working with families in the perinatal period and women effected by domestic violence.

Practicalities
If you’re curious about starting therapy—or unsure whether it’s the right step for you—you’re very welcome to get in touch. I offer a free 15-minute phone, where we can talk through any questions and arrange an initial session.
Our initial session is a space to explore what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and—just as importantly—whether working together feels right. If we decide to continue, we’ll agree on practicalities such as frequency, timing and the therapeutic agreement (covering cancellations, confidentiality ect).
Fees and Location
Sessions can be held online or in person, at my practise rooms in Hackney, London or near Woodbridge, Suffolk. Sessions are typically 50 minutes, but longer sessions of 75 minutes are available (this is particularly useful sometimes in couples or IFS work)
